for Unions Representing Workers at Harvard University
The HTUP is awarding an annual scholarship to a member of one of the labor unions representing workers at Harvard University.
The scholarship will include:
- Tuition and books
- $500 stipend for parking and other expenses
- If necessary, paid time off (for union officials).
Qualifications
Applicants for the scholarship should have:
- Experience as an officer or staff member of a Harvard University union
- The ability to learn in an academic environment – NO academic prerequisites
- Support from their union – only applicants whose unions have endorsed their participation will be considered

The Program’s objective is to include a diverse group of participants with the ability and potential for future leadership in the labor movement. We encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds and a variety of union experiences. We are committed to the progress of women and diversity in the labor movement.
