Shuttle bus service between Doubletree and campus:
- Doubletree Suites has a shuttle bus that runs regularly between the Suites and Harvard Square at 15 Story Street, at the corner of Story and Mount Auburn Street. Download the Doubletree shuttle bus schedule
- Harvard Shuttle bus – Since you will have a Harvard ID you are entitled to ride the Harvard Shuttle bus. The nearest stop to the DoubleTree is One Western Ave. The Shuttle bus route that stops at One Western Ave is The Allston Loop: Route and schedule. The Law School is a flag stop. This means that the driver will not stop there unless a stop is requested or someone is waiting at the stop. If you would like to get off at these stops make sure to pull the stop request cord or notify the driver. If you are waiting at these stops make sure you are visible to the driver.

Public Transit MBTA – bus and subway: Fares are cheaper on the MBTA if you get a Charlie card. You will receive your own Charlie card at registration. At a subway station, you can load money on it. Then every time you use it the money is subtracted from the card.
Inbound trains are in the direction of Park Street Station. Outbound is any direction away from Park Street.

Local Parking
Harvard Parking Info – parking in Harvard lots, and public lots near Harvard Square.
Parking in Cambridge – To encourage turnover in parking spaces, you can only park at a meter for the maximum allowable time, usually 2 hours. If you put more money in the meter to go past the 2 hours you will get a ticket. You must pay for parking from 8am-8pm, a much longer day than most places. A web-based version of Passport Parking is also available. There is a .50 fee per transaction to use the app.

Transit App– tells you when the next MBTA bus or subway train is coming. Pretty accurate.
